Syed Attaullah Shah Hashmi restarted as film producer, he had already started Tehzeeb under the banner of Caravan pictures which was discontinued on eve of partition of Sub Continent. Moreover Krishan Kumar the partner of Attaullah Hashmi in this movie took away the negative of the movie in question to Bambay and released it there by name of Kaneez. Right from the start Attaullah was in favour of release of Indian movies in Pakistan so once he started Akeli, he hired M.M. Mehra as it director, and Nina (Indian film actress) who played as the heroine of the film. But in spite of good cast credit this film didn’t do the expected business. Najam ul Hassan started Rait in 1946 which was completed and it was released as Eid. On completion of Eid Suresh migrated to India and Najma ul Hassan got married with Zareena the heroine of the movie. Syed Shoukat Hussain Rizvi who inaugurated Shahnoor Stodio in 1948, started five movies with five different film units. The first movie out of these five movies was Chan Way, although Noor Jahan was reflected as its Director but on ground it was Shoukat Hussain Rizvi who directed the film. Anyhow Chan Way was released on 19 April 1951 and it became the Super hit film of the year specially due to his meloudious music. In Lahore it was released in Regent cinema where it completed eighteen weeks. Ashiq Bhatti directed Do Kinarey, basically he was in accounts department of Shori Studio but with the existence of Pakistan he became director. Like Ashiq Bhatti, Malik Ameen who was basically a makeup artist and played some roles as extra in Bombay film industry, released Judai as Director which was screened in Malik Theater at Bhati Gate Lahore but on its first day it proved a totally flop. Like wise Farrukh Bukhari who was the husband of actress Maya Devi, released two movies Director and But Taraash which he directed before 1947 but both movies also proved a dead flop projects. Director Anwar Kamal Pasha tried himself as hero and directed Dilbar but his ambition to prove himself as hero went in vain except that he got the actual heroine of his life when he married with Shamim the heroine of film. Malik Ameen made two movies Pinjra and Ghairat as director; he also played a double role in Pinjra which was written by Nazir Ajmeeri. M.A. Saqi, Sheikh Hatim, owner of Waheed Sons of Brandruth road Mian Abdullah were , but in spite of having a good story and direction this movie like Ghairat became a flop movie. Amjad Hussain who migrated from Calcutta directed Billo that was in Punjabi language with financial assistance by Aslam Hayat then the manager of Plaza cinema and Shanoor studio. Initially the name of film was Meerasi and Mirza Sultan Baig the celebrity of the radio and commonly known as Choudhry Nizam Din the main presenter of daily broadcasted radio programme Jamhoor Di Awaz played a strong role in the film, subsequently the name of movie was changed with Billo on the reservations and protest from the musician and community related with music field. Najma and Ishrat played as hero and heroine where as singer Zubaida Khanum was also introduced in this movie. Prior to this movie Najma gave three consecutive flop movies and Ishrat was also a flop hero so after the release of this movie Najma married to Malik Bari and left film industry forever where as Ishrat migrated to Bombay.
