Raaz was Pakistan’s first suspense detective film and also Humayun Mirza‘s first Lahore base film in which Awami actor Allaudin gave one of his best performances.
One of the film song Ye bura hai zamana re which was sung by Zubaida Khanam where as some film music collector claims that this song was sung by Indian singer (Mubarak Beham).

Regal cinema Karachi was the main theater at the time of release of film.
